Helping Spirit Lodge Society is the leading Indigenous women’s organization in the Lower Mainland to alleviate family violence and enhance community wellness through a traditional, holistic approach. Our mission & vision are to provide safe, protective shelter to Indigenous women and children; holistic educational programs of enhancement, & support and advocacy to Indigenous peoples.
Programs and Services
HSLS - Journey Home (Housing First)
Journey Home provides a range of support services and for male or female individuals and families to access and maintain permanent housing options, with a special focus on urban Indigenous peoples who are chronically or episodically homeless.
HSLS - Kingsway Sierra (Women's Housing)
HSLS manages Kingsway Sierra as a mixed-market rental facility, with priority social housing for Indigenous women at risk of homelessness, and male or female clients who are episodically or chronically homeless.
