General Information
Tansi Friendship Centre provides free health and social programs to meet the needs of Native and non-Native people either coming to, or currently living in Chetwynd, BC and our surrounding communities.
Our weekly, year round services include a food bank, free hot lunches, elders gatherings and addictions counselling. The Tansi Friendship Centre also provides programs that change throughout the year.
We also have a Family Support Worker, Life Skills Coordinator, Men’s & Women’s Groups, we offer Cultural Activities, as well we have a Preschool with a Youth Centre called Kici-awasimsak.

TFCS - Mental Health & Addictions Counsellor
Tansi’s Mental Health & Addictions program provides outpatient mental health and addiction services for individuals and families in Chetwynd and the surrounding area.
TFCS - Rise Women's Legal Centre
Tansi is now in partnership with Rise Women’s Legal Centre to offer free legal advice and supports through way of our online portal. We can help set up video conferences with professional lawyers to assist with family law, child protection, as well as property, divorce and human rights & immigration issues.
TFCS - Employment Assistance/Training to Employment Coordinator
Employment and training program that assists with safety training and certification (WHMIS), résumés & cover letters, job finding.
