Invitation to participate:
BCFNJC invites individuals, justice and social development workers from Indigenous communities, and representatives from community justice organizations, to engage on the current and future state model of legal aid services for Indigenous peoples as we look to transition those services from Legal Aid BC to BCFNJC, an Indigenous led organization.
This survey aims to gather feedback from Indigenous peoples, community service providers and legal professionals on the current and future state of legal aid services for Indigenous peoples that will inform a future state model of legal aid services for Indigenous peoples. We wish to obtain meaningful feedback from a broad audience with diverse interests, and knowledge and direct experience with legal aid services to inform a future model that will result in increased access to justice for Indigenous peoples and outline clear criteria and standards for legal aid services.
