Indigenous Women’s Justice Plan Engagement Session – Prince Rupert
Indigenous Women’s Justice Plan Engagement Session – Prince Rupert
Tentative and subject to change based on community input.
We are hosting a series of in-person engagement sessions throughout the province to share and collaborate with communities on the work of the BCFNJC – please join us!
Help us shape our new Indigenous Justice Centres in Nanaimo, Surrey, Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna. As well share your voice in the development of the Women2S+ and Youth Justice Plan’s, the National Indigenous Justice Strategy and the transition of Legal Aid Services to the BCFNJC. Can’t attend in-person sessions? You can still participate in the conversation through virtual engagement sessions happening later this year. Sessions will be held online via Zoom and more information can be found about both in-person and virtual sessions on our calendar below.
The BCFNJC recognizes the importance of community engagement and strives to ensure equitable access for all individuals in each respective territory that is outlined below. Further community-level engagement is underway to determine availability and accommodations to facilitate the presence of the BCFNJC team.
We hope you will join us for these important discussions and help us shape the future of justice for BC First Nations. Visit our website and follow us on social media to stay connected!
